| Spanish abstract | El presente texto se pregunta por la forma en que se organizó la Junta Suprema de Caracas, que se convirtió en la primera forma de autonomía gubernamental y en una expresión independentista. Aunque estas Juntas pretendían defender los derechos de Fernando VII, en la práctica se convirtieron en el primer mecanismo de expresión política de los criollos, puesto que posteriormente se transformaron en juntas de gobierno autónomas que paulatinamente proclamaron la independencia y consolidaron los primeros proyectos constitucionales |
| English abstract | The present text wonders about the way in which the Supreme Meeting of Caracas was organized, it became into the first form of governmental autonomy and into an independence expression. Though these Meetings were trying to defend the rights of Fernando VII, in the practice they turned into the first mechanism of political expression of the creoles, since later they transformed in autonomous meetings of government that gradually proclaimed the independence and consolidated the first constitutional projects |
