| Spanish abstract | La novela es analizada aquí a partir de nociones teóricas postuladas, principalmente, por Barthes, Hamon y Eco. El análisis muestra un predominio de procedimientos miméticos; la obra, asimismo, despliega un vistoso trabajo estilístico en el nivel del lenguaje, lo que sin embargo no atenta contra el carácter transitivo de éste. Himno del ángel emerge como un “texto de placer” (Barthes) o un texto “amistoso” que se adscribe a la “nueva sencillez” (Kohut) que caracteriza a parte de la narrativa latinoamericana posterior al “boom” |
| English abstract | The novel is analyzed here starting from the theoretical notions postulated principally by Barthes, Hamon and Eco. The analysis shows the predominance of mimetic procedures. The work itself manifests a showy stylistic elaboration at the level of language which, however, does not jeopardize its transitive nature. Himno del angel emerges as a “text of pleasure” (Barthes) or a “friendly text” that is attributed to the “new simplicity” (Kohut) that characterizes a part of Latin American narrative after the “boom.” |
