| Spanish abstract | La divinidad de Alejandro Magno ha sido un tema largamente estudiado en el último siglo. Ese estudio, sin embargo, parece estar guiado por un cierto dogma que establece de forma casi definitiva el hecho que Alejandro fue, de hecho, deificado en vida y adorado como tal. En este artículo se discutirán los hechos cruciales que parecieran dar forma a este mito académico y, como veremos, se hará un intento por demostrar que las aseveraciones de diversos estudiosos del siglo XX carecen de los fundamentos necesarios para ser consideradas seriamente |
| English abstract | The divinity of Alexander the Great has been largely studied in the last century. However, this study seems to be guided by a certain doctrine that establishes almost definitively that Alexander was, in fact, deified during his life and worshipped as such. In this article the key facts that appear to shape this academic myth will be discussed and, as will be seen, we will prove that many of the statements of the twentieth century scholars lack of the necessary grounds to be taken seriously |
