| English abstract | The formation of the human has always been and, most likely, will be for a long time, one of the most complex and involving topics to be discussed. Of the several developments of human life, the relation with the freedom of individuals is one of the existential problems that are most presented on the agendas of theories that investigate the human formation. Educating the man so that he can well handle his freedom It is one of the most challenging purpose for who is responsible for other’s education. How John Locke addresses this issue by the comprehension of the concepts of freedom and reason is the final aim of this text |
| Portuguese abstract | A formação do homem sempre foi e, muito provavelmente, será, por muito tempo, um dos temas mais complexos e envolventes a serem debatidos. Dos vários desdobramentos da vida humana, a relação com a liberdade dos indivíduos é um dos problemas existenciais que mais se apresentam nas pautas das teorias que investigam a formação humana. Educar o homem para que ele consiga bem lidar com sua liberdade é um dos fins mais desafiantes para quem é responsável pela educação do outro. De que maneira John Locke trata dessa problemática pela compreensão dos conceitos de liberdade e de razão humana é a intenção final deste texto |
