| Spanish abstract | Múltiples son las alternativas, que hoy en día tiene los usuarios, para acceder y usar la información de carácter autónomo, por ello las bibliotecas han de moverse hacia modelos que promuevan una participación activa de estos no solo en la satisfacción de sus necesidades, sino como colaborador para ayudar a otros a solventar sus requerimientos informativos. En este sentido esta comunicación abordara los retos y oportunidades que para las bibliotecas representan los avances tecnológicos, fundamentalmente los relativos a la filosofía de la Web 2.0 y así cumplir con mayor eficiencia y calidad las premisas de Ranganathan: a cada lector su libro, cada libro a su lector y ahorrarle tiempo al lector |
| English abstract | Multiple are the alternatives that today has the users, to find and to use the information of autonomous character, for it the libraries must move toward models that promote an active participation of these no only in the satisfaction of their necessities, but also as collaborator to help others to solve their informative requirements. In this sense this communication approached the challenges and opportunities that represent the technological advances for the libraries, fundamentally the subjects relatives to the philosophy of the Web 2.0 and this way to fulfill bigger efficiency and quality the premises of Ranganathan: to each reader their book, each book to their reader and in that way save time to the reader |
