English abstract In Colombia alternative energy generation from biomass residues that have been produced by large agribusiness companies, which in turn are responsible for some of the environmental impacts in unmanaged byproducts and waste products, not evidence at all in the city of Villavicencio and rural area, as there is no generation of sustainable ideas for the use of this biomass outside use as compost for crops. The basis of the action of biomass as an alternative source is its use as initiation energy, in a choice of utilization of waste converted to energy in a clean and renewable energy that is most important because it is the product utilization so directly and without problems of environmental, it is posed by Dr. Leonor Carrillo, in his study of Biomass Energy, 2004, which raises much of what today is the basis for many studies on the subject. It is necessary to note that when the term biomass mentioned four types mentioned existing biomass and which are generated in a different as are wild-type biomass generated from natural selection or natural pruning of forests in general, the second is called the dry waste biomass generated from agribusiness companies, the third is the wet residual biomass that comes from wastewater industries or livestock enterprises and finally energy crops that his only purpose is to generate biomass crops of cereals, pulses, oilseeds, palm and all those kind lignocellulosic crops; the above types of biomass are the most representative of the agribusiness sector as they are large generators of this type of material to be transformed as they generate decomposition gases, vinasse, pests and visual pollution. This research is centered on the city of Villavicencio as the main axis of handling fruits and vegetables that are handled within both its public statements and private and to be generating high volumes of residual biomass is necessary to contextualize it is this material residual and for the
