| Spanish abstract | En la última década, las mujeres indígenas han comenzado a acced-er a la universidad: un espacio antes negado. Ello representa la oportunidad de liberarse de la opresión social expresada en situaciones de exclusión, que sin em-bargo se reflejan en este espacio académico, aunque en menor escala, ya que en él es posible poner en marcha estrategias que les permiten reconstruir o reafirmar su identidad, y así resistir y avanzar sobre ella, como una forma de agencia social. Para abordar esta problemática realicé una etnografía con mujeres indígenas uni-versitarias pertenecientes a la etnia Rarámuri, originaria de Chihuahua, México, y me pregunté ¿Qué significa para estas mujeres y para quienes las rodean ser una mujer Rarámuri? Interpreté los resultados a partir de conceptos como subjetiv-idad, opresión, identidad, género, interseccionalidad y etnicidad; reflexionado sobre el uso de éstos, y partiendo desde el feminismo poscolonial |
| English abstract | In the last decade, the indigenous women have begun to accede the university: a space before denied to them. It represents for them the opportunity to be liberated from the social oppression, expressed in situations of exclusion, which nevertheless are reflected in this academic space, though in a smaller scale, as there the indigenous women may reconstruct or reaffirm their identity, and so resist and advance over it, as a form of social agency. To approach this issue I made an ethnography on the Rarámuri women university students. The Rarámuri are an indigenous group from Chihuahua, in México. I wondered what does it mean for these women and for those who surround them to be a woman Rarámuri? I interpreted the results using concepts as subjectivity, oppres-sion, identity, gender, intersectionality and ethnicity; following the postcolonial feminism |
