| English abstract | Different theories about the nature of power mechanically associate power and exploitation; goldwork and power have been associated in the same way. This essay is not limited to the “representations” of power that the archaeologists can visualize in the collection of the Gold Museum of the Banco de la Republica, but it is rather about making a wide interpretation of the way in which symbols of power, not only of the exploitation type, were expressed in the material culture of the pre-Hispanic societies |
