Spanish abstract El convento de las Capuchinas de Antigua Guatemala, construido en la primera mitad del siglo XVIII, presenta una compleja instalación hidráulica que permitía abastecer de agua fría y caliente no sólo a las celdas de las monjas, sino, sobre todo, al sanatorio, donde se dispusieron letrinas individuales, bañeras, ducha y sauna. Este artículo trata de explicar cómo funcionaba ese sistema hidráulico
English abstract The former convent of the Capuchinas (Poor Clares) in Antigua, Guatemala, built in the first half of the eighteenth century, had a complex hydraulic system that permitted the supply of hot and cold water not only to the nuns’ cells, but also to the hospital, where there were individual latrines, bathtubs, a shower and sauna. This article tries to explain how this hydraulic system worked
