| Spanish abstract | El articulo se propone reflexionar sobre la pertinencia del denominado “giro ontológico” en la antropología dedicada a pueblos indígenas de Argentina. A partir de algunos aspectos centrales de la ontología animista entre los qom (tobas) del Chaco argentino, el trabajo indaga sobre la operatividad del abordaje ontológico en la comprensión del cuerpo, la persona y el mundo. Además quiere mostrar por qué el enfoque ontológico no solo no excluye la dimensión política, sino que constituye una herramienta metodológica y un posicionamiento ético que intenta subvertir el sentido común que impone la unidad referencial de la “naturaleza” propio de la ontología occidental moderna dominante |
| English abstract | The article intends to highlight the relevance of the so-called “ontological turn” in anthropology dedicated to indigenous peoples in Argentina. Taking into account some central aspects of the animist ontology among Qom (toba) people in the Argentinean Chaco, the work explores the advances of the ontological approach in understanding the body, the person and the world. Also he wants to show why the ontological approach not only does not exclude the political dimension, but is a methodological and political tool, and an ethical positioning, trying to subvert common sense imposed by the referential idea of “nature” implicit in the dominant modern Western ontology |
