| English abstract | This research aimed to investigate the transposition between the listener and speaker functions in undergraduate during the acquisition of new words and the effect of successive training on the transposition of these functions. Two experiments were conducted, the first one sought to verify whether undergraduates students would show the transposition between the listener and speaker functions. The second experiment examined the effect of the amount of successive training on the transposition of the same functions. In both experiments, the students initially did not have shown the speaker function tested after listener function training, which is according to the literature with participants with atypical development and children. It was observed the effect of successive training on the transposition between speaker and listener functions for part of undergraduates in both experiments, mostly in Experiment 2. | Portuguese abstract | A presente pesquisa teve como objetivos investigar a transposição entre as funções de ouvinte e falante em universitários durante a aquisição de novas palavras e o efeito de treinos sucessivos sobre a transposição dessas funções. Foram realizados dois experimentos, sendo que o primeiro verificou se universitários apresentaram a transposição entre as funções de ouvinte e falante. O segundo experimento verificou se a quantidade de treinos sucessivos produziria efeitos sobre a transposição entre os mesmos repertórios. Em ambos experimentos, os universitários inicialmente não apresentaram a função de falante testada após o treino da função de ouvinte, o que está de acordo com a literatura com participantes com desenvolvimento atípico e crianças. Foi observado o efeito de treinos sucessivos sobre a transposição em alguns participantes de ambos os experimentos, principalmente no Experimento 2. Os resultados sugerem que a transposição entre repertórios de falante e ouvinte em adultos depende de fatores ambientais, dentre eles, os treinos sucessivos |
